I’ve lived in Boston before – hell, I’ve lived in Back Bay before – but I’ve got to say that our neighborhood is far, far superior to my previous digs. While we’re right in the center of downtown, we’ve got a GORGEOUS park running directly behind our building meaning that within two minutes, we’ve got the great “outdoors.” Or at least, the great playground and some plants. Admittedly, we did not make the most of the outdoors in Western MA, not in the least. Seven years in cities had infected me – I’m out of the house more in the last two days than I would be in a typical week back in Holyoke (ok… maybe an exaggeration… but not much). Speaking of which… this is the next street over. Ha. (Note: all photos were taken within a block of our house! I’m really loving it here.)

Used to live ’round the conah on Rutland Square (and Mass Ave and Boylston when I was at Berklee). Damn, I miss it. Thanks for taking me home.
Great neighborhood. The South End is by far my favorite part of Boston!
I am a little envious.. I miss the big-big city.
You’ll just have to come visit!
