If you follow me on Twitter you’ve probably read that we went up to Vermont this weekend in less than stellar circumstances. This past week, two of my family members have been diagnosed with various cancers and were in the same hospital for a while. My grandfather has since been released to go home with Stage 4 colon cancer (with lung and lymph involvement) with a possible two years left with us – probably less. My stepmother remains in the hospital with leukemia and a very rare complication in which her blood cells are literally eating each other. It’s a pretty rough time for my dad & his family and all we can do at this point is provide moral support.
Here are some photos of a few other things we’ve done closer to home this week. While we’ve been focusing a lot of energy on the rest of our family, we’re still enjoying playful moments with our Whuffle.
