Actually, that’s not true. I did edit my iPhone dump into my favorites – capturing the up and down of a Boston January. Snow! Hats, mitties, and snow boots! Overcast dull grey skies! Very tall buildings eaten up by fog! And then… January thaw! Blue skies! No need for the big down coat, just a sweater will do!

I’ve been taking lots and lots of pictures lately, but still only my iPhone. It’s been hard to bust out my DSLR as whenever I do, Paulo is fascinated with trying to see how it works and I can’t really *use* it so much since he’s grabbing it and trying to figure out its secrets. (Also, getting his greasy fingers all over the lens. Thanks, pal.) I’m going to try slipping it into my diaper bag and getting a few city shots while we’re strolling and he can’t see that I have it. Though this still leaves the iPhone for Whuff-ography, I’m pretty ok with that. He’s used to the mamarazzi and even smiles a bit when I bring out the phone and hold it all sideways for a picture.

This week he’s been coloring a bit more with his crayons and has graduated from turning his trucks over to spin the wheels to rolling them on the floor… and lying next to them to watch the wheels. He’ll sort of traverse the perimeter of the living room this way, following the truck as it rolls, though my bed and the couch are also great fun as they’re cozier to lie on.
